Cody Rhodes has wise words for AEW Dynamite

Pro-wrestling fans around the world are majorly invested in the viewership race between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite on Wednesday nights. This week finally saw the Black and Gold brand take over AEW's dominant ratings and ended the latter's winning streak that lasted seven weeks.

The USA Network registered 916,000 viewers for NXT this week that was 2.6% higher than the 893,000 viewers drawn by Dynamite on TNT.

However, this result is far from bothering Cody Rhodes who had a brilliant response to Dynamite's first loss against NXT. Yesterday, a fan asked Rhodes to comment on Dynamite registring less viewership as compared to their rivals.

To that, a positive Rhodes responded by saying that this is the opportunity to learn and grow in the business. He stated that one needs to face the defeat and rely on the hard work as there's no room for excuses.

His tweet read, "Take it on the chin, learn from it, get up off the mat and get to work. Excuses are for a**holes."

NXT and AEW saw The Revival vs Undisputed Era and Nick Jackson and Rey Fenix as the best matches of the night respectively. In addition, the Full Sail arena also witnessed the likes of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins appearing on the live show.

The upcoming WWE PPV, Survivor Series will witness NXT locking horns with RAW and SmackDown in the battle of brand supremacy for the first time in history. This has allowed the room for an invasion angle that saw the Black and Gold brand dominate in several unexpected matches and has boosted the overall excitement surrounding the product.

The higher viewership will act as a catalyst for the NXT roster as they prepare for WarGames. Now that they managed to put a stop to Dynamite's winning streak, NXT will look to build one of its own.
