Fastlane 2018 is going to be WWE`s final PPV before WrestleMania and once it is over, people will pretty much know who enters as champion and what feuds they may expect.As of now, it has been made obvious that the main event will be AJ Styles against either Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens.
However, many of the other matches are still unknown and some can go in numerous ways.It doesn`t look like WWE can make a potential strong card, but perhaps some creative decisions from WWE`s staff can turn this around.

#6 The Fashion Police vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin (Kick-Off)
The Fashion Police have been treading water for months now, as it seems that WWE is losing interest in them. Many of their recent matches have been nothing but time filler and only served to make The Bludgeon Brothers and Gable & Benjamin look stronger.
WWE needs a match for its Kick-Off and it once again looks that The Fashion Police will fall victim to Gable & Benjamin in order to keep their momentum after they lost decisively to The Usos at the Royal Rumble.
Prediction: Gable & Benjamin win the match via pinfall
#5 Bobby Roode(c) vs Dolph Ziggler (SmackDown US Championship Match)
This Tuesday the United States Champion Bobby Roode is set to defend his title against the incredibly popular Rusev, who is gaining more and more fans with his "Rusev Day". Rusev's newly found popularity, however, may be a problem for someone else.
Aiden English, Rusev's partner, who was also recently in the US title contention, more specifically in the US Championship tournament to determine the new champion, where he lost in the quarterfinals against Xavier Woods. Now that Rusev has a chance to defeat Bobby Roode and become the new US Champions, in addition to his huge fan base, English might become jealous and shockingly turn against his partner, costing him the match.
There is another possibility that may prevent Rusev from becoming a champion. Dolph Ziggler, having abandoned the US title, appeared at #30 in the Royal Rumble, where he barely lasted a few minutes. He was absent in the last episode of SmackDown, and may now return to announce that he is the real US Champion as he was never defeated for the title.

#4 The Usos(c) vs The Bludgeon Brothers (SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match)
The Usos ave pretty much proved that they are best Tag Team in WWE as they dominated the whole 2017, winning the titles on multiple occasions.They have beaten almost every team there is on SmackDown, from American Alpha to New Day. A new threat is looming over them, however.
The Bludgeon Brothers have crushed everyone that has stepped in their way and it seems that the time has come for them to chase the titles.Harper & Rowan have faced The Usos before and the matches they had were simply spectacular, so this could easily end being the match of the night.
There might not be a depth of story here, but the solid wrestling these two teams will present may be just enough.
Prediction: The Usos retain their titles via count-out as WWE will look to prolong this feud to WrestleMania and maybe beyond.
#3 Charlotte(c) vs Ruby Riott (SmackDown Women Championship Match)
On the last episode of SmackDown, Ruby Riott confronted The Queen, attacking her. Charlotte attempted to fight back, but the numbers game overwhelmed her in the end. The leader of the Riott Squad proved that she shouldn`t be underestimated making a statement to the champion.
With Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan always lurking around, ready to attack if Ruby needs them, Charlotte is facing a one-on-three situation. This is where Becky Lynch and Naomi probably come to her aid in order to make the match absolutely fair.Of course, there is always the possibility that Carmella could cash-in her Money in the Bank briefcase, but it is very unlikely that WWE will do that at a PPV like Fastlane.
Ruby Riott has fought for relevancy and will surely produce an entertaining match when put against The Queen.It won`t be the best match on the card, but the ensuing chaos will be enough for the fans to get excited.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Randy Orton
Shinsuke Nakamura did what many wanted and won the Royal Rumble 2018. He is now guaranteed a WWE Championship match, whether it will be against AJ Styles, Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens.Randy Orton, on the other side, has been very stable during the last few months.A heel turn may be what`s needed to revitalize him and that may come against a man he partnered with quite a few times.
Nakamura and Orton have already clashed once, with Nakamura getting the better of Orton.Last month, though, Nakamura was taken by surprise and was hit with an RKO outta nowhere.The veterans are two of the most solid workers in the company and they will surely produce an excellent match.
Prediction: Orton begins his heel turn by hitting Nakamura with a low blow, but Nakamura survives Orton`s onslaught and wins with the Kinshasa.
#1 AJ Styles(c) vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens (WWE Championship match)
AJ Styles has been feuding with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens since December.He and Owens even feuded throughout the summer of 2017.Deeply embroiled in this feud, however, is another feud.The one between SmackDown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan, and SmackDown Live Commissioner, Shane McMahon.
There is no doubt that with Styles holding the WWE title, he has made it once again the most prestigious title in the company and each week shows why he is probably the best wrestler the company has.WrestleMania 34 is almost upon us and fans are already expecting the dream match of Styles vs Nakamura.
This Tuesday, Zayn, and Owens are going to face each other with the winner, facing Styles at Fastlane 2018.The company has already planted seeds for dissension between them, but it is likely they will stay friends at least until Fastlane 2018. That`s why the two of them will probably find a way to enter the WWE title match together, however, Shane and Bryan will make it a Triple Threat match.
Styles will once again fight against the odds to retain the title and enter WrestleMania 34 as the WWE Champion.
