Can you believe at one point Luke Harper was actually considered as the number one contender to Bray Wyatt's WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33? Time flies and things change, as now both these men are currently on WWE's injured list.

But when it comes to Luke Harper, the man has always had something special about him, and most would say it isn't his look or his wrestling ability, but it is his character. It might be a coincidence, but Harper has some shades of Mick Foley in him, as his programme with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton leading up to WrestleMania really showcased him in a different light.

However, WWE squandered the opportunity to make this man a star, as they moved on from that and repackaged Harper and Erick Rowan as The Bludgeon Brothers.

The Bludgeon Brothers was a successful team, as WWE made Harper and Rowan into the unbeatable forces they should have been all along, but after an injury caused the team to drop the tag team titles, Harper has been sitting on the sidelines, and Rowan has become a follower of Daniel Bryan.

Now it seems Harper could become Bryan's next follower, as rumors suggest he will make his return at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. This sounds like a rumor that is plausible enough because WWE would consider something like this, and Harper and Rowan being Bryan's enforcers seems like a good idea in the long run.
