Ember Moon has been out action for a while, leaving many fans wondering about the reason behind her absence. Moon was on WWE Backstage last night and confirmed that she was out because of a serious Achilles injury and no date for her return has been set.
Ember Moon reveals the extent of her Achilles injury
Ember Moon was a guest on WWE Backstage last night. She briefly joined Booker T, Paige and Renee Young on the panel and gave fans some devastating news. Moon discussed why she'd been out of action recently and revealed that she was suffering from a ruptured and torn Achilles and would be out of action indefinitely.
Here's what Ember Moon said:
"Long and short, I basically ruptured my Achilles and tore it in half. So, I tore it off the bone as well."

Ember Moon was a NXT Women's Champion before making the leap to the main roster last year on the RAW after WrestleMania 34. Despite being a popular Superstar in the women's division, WWE haven't really done a whole lot with her and her main roster career has mostly been stop-start so far.
This latest injury will be another huge setback for Moon's career but we can only hope that The Shenom comes back better than ever.
