#8 Kip Sabian def. Sammy Guevara

Sabian vs Guevara
Sabian vs Guevara

Despite taking place on the pre-show 'Buy In', this match was fantastic, and a clear message to the AEW crowd that these two are a key part of the company's future, and if that's the case, the future looks incredibly bright. While it was the charismatic Brit Sabian that came out on top, it was Sammy Guevara that stole the show. He showed off some jaw-dropping feats of athleticism, ultimately in defeat.

As it did take place on the pre-show, it was a fairly straight forward contest, but that doesn't mean it was bad. It just didn't steal the show the way it could have if it took place with more time on the main show. Before this time next year, it's likely that these two will be huge parts of AEW, and would even be on the way to the main event level, so when we look back on this, it will be a fun match to see as the start of two great AEW careers.
