Having made his debut in the year 1990, Undertaker is one of the longest serving superstars in the history of the WWE. Over the years he has donned several avatars with the Undertaker gimmick which was given to him by none other than Vince McMahon.

This will show you how much has the phenom evolved over the years in the business ever since joining it from WCW. In 1990, he was just showcased as an angry young man and then started showing up in a trench coat with a gray striped tie, a black hat with gray gloves. In the following years, he grew his hair long and was accompanied by Paul Bearer who always had an urn in his hand potraying as if The Undertaker’s powers lie in it.
In 1994, grey turned in to purple when he came back to fight against the imposter Undertaker. Then he started to impose himself as an incarnation of a dead man by 1997 at the beginning of the Attitude era where he called himself ‘The Lord of the Darkness’.
He took a more wicked turn in the year 1999 when he led the satanic stable called as the ‘Ministry of Darkness’. He appeared in a hooded black robe and often sat on a throne while also performing sacrifices.
He surprised one and all with his all new avatar in the year 2000 when he appeared as ‘The American Badass’ where he always rode to the ring in a bike wearing sunglasses and bandanas. After sometime he cut his hair short and this persona was termed as ‘Big Evil’.
2004 was the year when he went back to the deadman mode in a more hybrid version once again accompanied by Paul Bearer. For many years he continued in the same vein until Wrestlemania 28 where he showcased a mohawk which he continued to sport even during his most recent appearance where he lost his Wrestlemania streak to Brock Lesnar.
Many would be hoping to see the Deadman back in the ring, but nobody knows what the future holds for him. The last time we saw him make a public appearance was at a concert where he looked relaxed and even posed with fans.
