Oregon’s own Chael Sonnen was seen in the audience at the WWE SmackDown tapings in the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The so-called “Greatest talker since Muhammad Ali” is currently an announcer with another pro-wrestling promotion, Global Force Wrestling.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter some weeks ago, reported that Sonnen would be meeting with Michael Cole at the SmackDown tapings and it seems that meeting could have taken place. It was reported then that the meeting was arranged by WWE talent scout Gerald Brisco and WWE's Senior Director of Talent Development, Canyon Ceman.
