Exclusive: Bayley reveals her funny relationship with Roman Reigns backstage & more

At Elimination Chamber, Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated five other teams to become the first ever WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, earning themselves a spot in history. Sportskeeda caught up with one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions during a recent teleconference and posed some questions to WWE's top hugger.

What was it like backstage when Roman Reigns returned to action?

Bayley: It was very emotional. Everybody backstage was surrounded around the monitor. Everybody was just glad to have him back. Nobody knew what he was going to say. Nobody knew whether it was going to be good or bad. But he's such a loved person backstage that we were just happy to see him.

He was around smiling and hugging everybody. Sasha and I specifically, we have a funny relationship with Roman where he makes fun of us for being around each other all the time and just being like soul sisters.

So obviously when we saw him he was like- 'Oh you're together again'. So it was amazing and then to hear the good news, everyone was kinda teary eyed.

It's very special and I can't wait for him to be around all the time again.

Torrie Wilson was recently named as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. Were you a fan growing up?

Bayley: I think it's great that she's being inducted. I remember watching her all the time but the main thing I remember about her is that my brother liked her. I just met her at the last Royal Rumble. She was in the Rumble match with us. She is super nice.

She is super cool. I just remember watching her as a kid and thinking 'wow, she's so athletic'. Because she's so beautiful. So it's cool to see her inducted and I know that my brother will be real happy.
