This week of WWE Monday Night Raw was broadcasted live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The show kicked off with a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. and Brock Lesnar showed up with Paul Heyman right after.
Paul Heyman talked about how Finn Balor seized the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar. Vince McMahon came out to interrupt them and he didn't seem to believe in Balor. Braun Strowman came out and talked about the last week's incident.
Finn Balor then came out and vowed to beat the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, at Royal Rumble. Vince then made a match between Finn Balor and Braun Strowman. Lesnar was about to walk away but McMahon told Lesnar to take a ringside seat for a real David vs Goliath match.
Finn Balor faced Braun Strowman next on Raw and defeated him via disqualification when Brock Lesnar hit the F-5 on Balor.
Bobby Lashley came out next with Lio Rush to celebrate his Intercontinental Championship victory. Apollo came out to face Lashley in a singles match. Bobby Lashley defeated Apollo with the help of the distraction caused by Lio Rush.
Next, on Raw, Seth Rollins came out and talk about his participation in 30-men Royal Rumble match. Drew McIntyre came out and told Rollins he had no chance of winning the Royal Rumble. Seth Rollins then went one-on-one against Drew McIntyre and defeated him after some incredible action.
Also on Raw, Lucha House Party defeated the team of Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers. Elias came out next to play his song until he was interrupted by former Acting RAW GM Baron Corbin. Corbin then faced Elias and defeated him comfortably.
Alexa Bliss came out next for the third episode of "A Moment with Bliss". Nia Jax was her guest this time but they got interrupted by Ember Moon, Alicia Fox, Mickie James and finally Nikki Cross. They all claimed to win the Royal Rumble and Alexa Bliss tried to calm things down but the brawl broke out. After that, Alexa Bliss officially announced her return and that she will be in the Rumble match. She was then interrupted by the debuting Lacey Evans who announced her own entry to the Royal Rumble match.
Next, Heavy Machinery made their debut tonight against Ascension and defeated them in a quick match. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode then came out to defend their tag team titles against The Revival with Curt Hawkins as special guest referee. They defeated The Revival in the match to retain their titles. After the match, The Revival attacked Hawkins but Zack Ryder returned and made the save.
In the main event of this week's Raw, Sasha Banks and Bayley faced the team of Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Natalya. After some incredible action, Sasha Banks locked in the Banks Statement on Natalya and managed to get the victory for her team.
. After the match, tensions ensued as Rousey and Banks were talking trash face to face.
