This week's of WWE SmackDown Live was live from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Charlotte Flair came out to kick off the show.
Charlotte Flair talked about Becky Lynch's suspension and said that she couldn't believe Becky was dumb enough to get suspended. Charlotte said that she wasn't picked by Mr McMahon because she's his favourite but because she was a winner. She swore that the same crowd booing her would be chanting 'This is awesome' at WrestleMania. The crowd chanted 'you s*ck' but Charlotte shrugged it off before pointing to the WrestleMania sign and walking off.
Next, on SmackDown Live, The IIconics came out to face the team of Naomi and Carmella and the team of Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille. After some back and forth action, Naomi pinned Mandy Rose to get the victory for her team. With this loss, Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille will have to start the Elimination Chamber Women's tag team match.
SmackDown Tag team Champions Shane McMahon and The Miz came out next for a "McMiz TV" episode. The Miz and Shane claimed that they are "The Best Tag Team in the World". Then, they welcomed their guest The Usos and asked them to take a seat, but Usos refused to take a seat. Both teams started arguing about the best tag team in the world before Usos dropped The Miz's mic. They then hit the champions with dual superkicks and walked away.
Daniel Bryan came out to talk about his match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. He then vowed to win the Elimination Chamber match before he got interrupted by New Day. New Day chose Kofi Kingston to represent them in the Elimination Chamber Match.
In the main event of this week's SmackDown, a Gauntlet match took place to determine the final entry in the Elimination Chamber match. Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston started the match as Kofi eliminated the WWE Champion by pinning him. Jeff Hardy came out next but got eliminated by Kofi Kingston.
Samoa Joe then came out and started overpowering the tired Kofi Kingston. But Kofi Kingston somehow managed to fight back and eliminate Samoa Joe via a roll-up. Joe then attacked Kofi Kingston in bitterness and made him pass out with the coquina clutch on the outside before AJ Styles came out to make the save.
AJ Styles and Kofi continued the match and after some amazing action, AJ Styles eliminated Kingston by locking him in Calf Crusher. Randy Orton came out last and hit an amazing RKO outta nowhere to win this Gauntlet match.
