Fans unhappy over Booker T's comments on Owen Hart, issues apology

As noticed on Monday Night Raw last night, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T made some comments about the late Owen Hart which has upset many fans. He has been receiving a lot of heat on social media for his words but has apologised on Twitter after Raw.

During the King of the Ring tournament match between Adrian Neville and Luke Harper, Booker said that Neville could be the first high-fyling King in the WWE. JBL commented that Owen was a high-flyer but not like Neville and Booker said Owen "didn't defy gravity" like Neville.

It seemed innocent the way he said it but there appeared to be activity on the headset as there was a bit of awkwardness after the line. Booker tweeted the following after the show:

I would never say anything to disrespect the legacy of Owen Hart. If I did offend anyone, I apologize.
