5 decisions that could completely ruin WrestleMania 34

Can WWE actually ruin WrestleMania?

Some might think that question is the result of some nonsensical hyperbole by a fan that just isn't happy with the product right now, but these same decisions that will be listed below have ruined shows in the past and very well could again. Not only that, these poor decisions could also hurt a couple superstar's legacies as well.

With that being said and the rumored twists and turns that the WWE will supposedly take throughout The Road to WrestleMania 34, here are five things that could ruin The Show of Shows completely.

Let us know what you think in the comments below and be sure to tell us what would ruin the show for you!

#5 Having Undertaker lose again

The Undertaker,
The Undertaker after his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33

This might have been higher on the list if The Undertaker didn't already lose to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, but The Deadman doesn't have much time left in the squared circle, which means a loss probably wouldn't hurt him that much. What it, unfortunately, will do nonetheless, is upset the WWE Universe.

In fact, some fans were so upset about The Undertaker's loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, that they were left in shock for pretty much the rest of the show. Maybe Daniel Bryan winning the WWE title took some of the burn out of the shocking occurrence, but other fans have claimed that it ruined the show for them.

Then it happened again at WrestleMania 33 and while fans were a little more understanding of the situation, Roman Reigns still received one of the biggest heel reactions in WWE history after simply defeating The Undertaker. With that in mind, why would WWE even attempt to do it a third time?

#4 Not allow Daniel Bryan to compete

WWE is playing a very dangerous game here.

While it is understandable why they would want to do so, especially given how high of a risk it would be to have Daniel Bryan compete in the ring again, they are essentially missing the chance to catch lightning in a bottle here. In fact, having Bryan compete one last time in WWE could be one of the biggest selling points of WrestleMania 34!

Of course, fans would have to come into the match with the understanding that it probably won't be Bryan's matches in the past, but it would still be something really thrilling to watch nonetheless. Not only that, it would allow WWE to give Bryan the proper sendoff that he deserves!

In the end, Daniel Bryan is an extremely popular entity in WWE and the company would be very smart to try to capitalize on that success while they still can.

#3 The first ever women's main event

Asuka,
Asuka removing her mask for The WWE Universe

Most people probably don't want to hear this right now, especially after the announcement of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match earlier this year, but WWE just doesn't have the kind of star power or storyline crafting to make an all women's main event match work.

Sure, WWE could bring in Ronda Rousey and put her up against Asuka or Charlotte, but it's just not enough to warrant a main event match for the ladies yet. Maybe it would with the right stipulation, like a cage match or an extreme rules elimination match, but that would probably only make WWE look even more desperate.

In the end, if WWE needs to call upon their top women to carry the match and add a stipulation for good measure, there is no point in doing an all women's WrestleMania main event. In fact, not even the mainstream publicity garnered by a possible Rousey versus Asuka match would make it worthy of the main event spot.

#2 No Universal Title match for Finn Balor

The Balor Club

It's time for WWE to put Finn Balor back into the Universal title picture!

Unfortunately for Finn Balor fans, who have been waiting patiently since Balor vacated the Universal title two years ago, WWE seems to have no plans to put him anywhere near the title scene. In fact, there have been no rumors about what Balor will be doing at Mania and that's probably not a good thing.

Not only does it show that Balor isn't a priority to the WWE, even after uniting with Gallows and Anderson to form the Balor Club, it also shows that he will most likely be relegated to a mid-card feud of little to no significance. Of course, WWE will probably try to fix this by putting him in the title picture late on, but that doesn't give him the moment he needs!

In the end, not having Balor compete for the Universal Title is going to be a huge letdown for a lot of fans and only make them that much more resentful about watching the show. Hopefully, WWE will do something with Balor at WrestleMania 34, like a dream match against Triple H or a lower card title feud, but fans probably shouldn't count on that either.

#1 Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar,

The entire match should not happen and while the newly rumored idea of Roman Reigns versus Bruan Strowman doesn't sound that great either, it would still be an improvement over seeing Reigns versus Lesnar again. It might even be enough to craft one of the best WrestleMania moments of all time if WWE is willing to put Strowman over instead.

Unfortunately, WWE has no interest in doing any of that and it is being said that Reigns defeating Lesnar is still the plan. Of course, that idea might have worked if The Shield had stayed together and Reigns didn't get sidelined with a viral infection, but with the lackluster push he is receiving right now, the gains he has made won't be enough to save the match.

WWE really needs to reconsider the WrestleMania 34 main event entirely and work from scratch to try to work on building young stars instead. At least if WWE does that, it will set something up for the future of the company and not just be another wasted WrestleMania main event.
