5 female WWE superstars that turned out to be complete busts

Bayley,
Bayley is one of many female superstars that turned out to be complete busts.

#3 Emma

Emma,
For a women credited with jump starting the women's revolution, Emma didn't really do much else.

What a long strange road it has been for Emma.

The Austrian born wrestler started to gain a lot of traction during her first run in NXT, even resulting in a title shot against then NXT Women's champion Paige, but was ultimately unsuccessful in doing so. She then was moved to the main roster for one of the most underwhelming runs in WWE history.

Not only was that evident by how WWE made her a comedy break dance gimmick in the beginning, but also by the way they quickly sent her back down to NXT only a little bit after that.

Of course Emma was revitalized in NXT and had a much acclaimed feud with Asuka at NXT Takeover London, but she was still placing second fiddle to several rising stars.

She then made her way back to the main roster as a part of The Women's revolution, but also failed to get much done there as well. In the end, it was a plethora of injuries, horrible storyline direction and a bad attitude that ended her career in WWE. But what hurts the most is the fact that she could have done so much more.

Think about it! This woman was credited with helping start The Women's revolution. She was also someone who was extremely talented in the ring, had a great personality and was more than capable of competing for The Women's title if she was ever given the chance to do so by WWE officials.

In the end, there are two reasons why Emma is a complete bust. The first was her injury proneness, which set her back storyline wise on the main roster, and NXT quite a few times. The other problem was her attitude backstage, which ultimately resulted in WWE creative not wanting to work with her.
