Another thing the WWE Universe is going to have to be honest about is the fact that there aren't a lot of female superstars that look like they could go one on one with Rousey. In fact, WWE will seemingly face a similar situation with Rousey that they are with Lesnar, which means certain superstars will never get booked to face former Bantamweight champion.

Unfortunately for superstars like Sasha Banks, Bayley, The Riott Squad and Alicia Fox, that means they won't have a lot of opportunities in the main event picture and even if they do, it likely won't result in a title run. If nothing else, that really limits the stories that WWE can gp\o with, and it is a bad idea when WWE is already constricted storyline wise.

Maybe it wouldn't be as bad if WWE could go back to some of their more interesting female storylines that headlined the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era, but WWE refuses to tell the type of stories that could help bring ratings back. With that being said, they are only further restricting their storytelling ability with this decision, and the division will suffer.
