There's nothing worse than a publicity champion and that appears to be exactly what Ronda Rousey will be. That's not to say she isn't talented or deserving of the spot she is about the be handed, but one needs to realize that WWE is making this decision from a publicity standpoint and not one based on talent.

Does Rousey have talent? Yes! She has it in spades, but there are other superstars out there that deserve it more! In the end, Rousey as Women's champion will be the publicity stunt that WWE needs in order to return to the public consciousness, but it is shortchanging a load of superstars in the process.
