#2 Continuity of the storyline

Believe it or not, continuity is a huge part of pro wrestling storyline and it is something that can really take fans out of an experience if not followed correctly. Interestingly enough, WWE has already planted the seeds for The Shield to break up, which means they will eventually have to follow up on a plot point and resolve it somehow.
Unfortunately for The WWE, fans and The Shield, they have seemingly begun teasing the breakup prematurely and will now be forced to do it in a matter of weeks and not months. Of course WWE could always keep this going as long as they want, but eventually, fans are going to get tired of being teased with this every week.

For example, it was just like The Big Show versus The Authority back in 2013. The storyline gained a lot of traction with fans over the supposed pay off when show finally turned on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. With that being said, however, the impact became less and less the more WWE teased it and went back and forth.
Again, it's up to WWE on what they want to do here, but they need to consider what this will do to the continuity of the storyline and how long they can keep fans interested in it.
