5 reasons why WWE should fire Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar,
Does WWE really need Brock Lesnar anymore?

WWE have made a lot of mistakes over the course of their existence and while the exact number will forever climb into the heavens, one of their biggest ones had to be the fact that they signed Lesnar to a new contract the week before WrestleMania 34. In fact, one has to wonder why they would bother when they really don't need him anymore?

Not only did the move seem perplexing when you consider the plethora of other talents that WWE could turn into the face of the company if they really wanted to, but also due to the fact that keeping the title on Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 was a very anti-climatic ending to have at The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

With all that being said and Lesnar now signed to another contract with the WWE until they can make Roman Reigns into the guy, here are five reasons why WWE don't actually need Brock Lesnar anymore.

As always, let us know what you think in the comments below and tell us if you think WWE need Brock Lesnar or not.

#5 stacked women's division

Women's Revolution, WWE superstars,
There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that The Women's division could pick up the slack left by Brock Lesnar.

The Women's Revolution is still taking the world by storm and while WWE has yet to hold an all women main event at WrestleMania, they are arguably one of the most watched aspects of weekly WWE television. Not only that, they have some of the best matches night after night, which has only propelled the movement further.

With that being said and the WWE Universe more focused on women's wrestling than ever before, why does the company even need someone like Brock Lesnar anymore? Maybe that wasn't the case a couple of years ago when women's wrestling was still considered the excuse to take a bathroom break, but it is far from that now.

In fact, WWE has a multitude of top-level women including Asuka, Charlotte, Ronda Rousey, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax, that could propel WWE into the mainstream conciseness. Unfortunately for WWE, they still have it in their minds that they need Brock Lesnar when they have an absolutely stacked women's division they can focus on instead.

#4 Too much money for too little time

Brock Lesnar,
Is Brock Lesnar's price per appearance becoming too much for WWE?

It is no secret that Brock Lesnar is one of the highest paid stars in The WWE right now, especially with some reports claiming that he was making half a million per appearance with the company, but it is hard to argue that the WWE are getting the most for their money. In fact, the company might just be better off letting The Beast Incarnate go.

Not only would doing so free up more money for the company to use on finding new talent or paying the ones they have to continue to stay in the company, it would also finally allow someone else besides Lesnar to dominate the world title picture on Raw. If nothing else, getting rid of Lesnar could be great for WWE's bottom line and allow for a fresher title picture on Raw.

#3 Better drawing part-time stars

Daniel Bryan, WWE,
Daniel Bryan is one of the countless superstars that could fill the void left by Brock Lesnar.

Another reason WWE no longer need the services of Brock Lesnar is the fact that the company has Superstars like John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and several others that they could bring back for a well-timed run on Raw or Smackdown Live. In fact, one has to wonder why WWE haven't already figured this out after Daniel Bryan came out of retirement at WrestleMania 34.

With that being said and so many other options out there, why would WWE waste their time paying Lesnar the money they are for only a sub-par result? It would be understandable if WWE was actually getting something valuable out of the deal with Lesnar and Heyman, but with the lackluster results of the storylines Lesnar was involved in during the last year, why does WWE bother.

#2 More stacked men's roster

Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, WWE,
Does WWE really even need Brock Lesnar anymore with superstars like this on Raw?

One of the biggest reasons WWE shouldn't bother with Brock Lesnar anymore is the fact that they have so many other young stars that could match or exceed what Lesnar is doing right now. Of course, Lesnar will always have that realistic feel to his career since he is a legitimate UFC fighter and very dominating inside the ring, WWE could create a star that would outsell him if they would only try!

For example, what about Superstars like Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins and several other stars that could thrive in the top role? They also have a plethora of other stars like Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and others that could easily be turned into the top guy, but WWE still seem to stick with Lesnar for some reason.

Maybe it is the realism aspect that he brings, but if that's the case, why not bring in someone like Conor McGregor for half the money that Lesnar earns and allow that to be their big draw. They would still have the realism and they would pay a lot less money because of McGregor not being an established star in the WWE.

#1 Ronda Rousey

WWE, Ronda Rousey,
Can Ronda Rousey leave a bigger impact on WWE then Brock Lesnar did?

If nothing else, Ronda Rousey should be proof that WWE doesn't need Brock Lesnar anymore.

Not only is that sentiment evident by her mainstream appeal, which even rivals that of Brock Lesnar's, but also the fact that the WWE Universe's response to her seems to be resoundingly more positive than that of Lesnar's. In fact, Rousey could probably go further than Lesnar did in the WWE if they utilize her in the women's revolution in the right way.

Whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen, but any void that Brock Lesnar leaving would put the WWE in, WWE could easily get out of it by utilizing the services of Rousey.
