Ever since Shane O' Mac showed up in 2016 and subsequently paved the way for yet another brand split, the Superstar Shake-Up has always generated a lot of attention and fan-fare during the aftermath of Wrestlemania.

Superstars have been given a push from one brand to another on the basis of their work, while some household NXT superstars are also introduced in to the big leagues of WWE.

With the Superstar shakeup billed to take place on April 16 and 17 in Montreal, the idea is to stack both shows with supreme talents capable of drawing big numbers with WWE agreeing upon huge TV deals for Raw and Smackdown. Here are six superstars who could be on the move to the other show come April.

#5 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan

The current WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan was only cleared last year to compete in the ring after serious injuries suffered earlier in his career. Bryan has been eased into life in the WWE ring after initially feuding with Big Cass and even reuniting with Kane to compete for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, albeit unsuccessfully.

Ever since he restarted his long time rivalry with the Miz, Bryan's stock has been high as ever with matches against AJ Styles and even Brock Lesnar to his name. His virtuoso performance against the Beast Incarnate was enough to cement his position as one of the go-to guys for Vince McMahon with Roman Reigns out of action.

With a new persona, Daniel Bryan has portrayed his character to perfection and is slated to defend his WWE Championship against five other superstars at the Elimination Chamber PPV. This could be a ploy by WWE to free Daniel Bryan of the championship so as to move him up the ladder to the A-show of the WWE i.e. Monday Night Raw.

His fan-following and in-ring ability hasn't declined since his previous WWE Championship reign and would be an apt replacement for Roman Reigns.

#4 Finn Balor

Demon King to Smackdown Live?
Demon King to Smackdown Live?

The first NXT Superstar to be drafted in the 2016 Draft, Finn Balor was destined for greatness. The "Demon King" even showed up in his first ever WWE pay-per-view as he won a gruelling match against Seth Rollins to be crowned the first ever Universal Champion in WWE history.

But the win came at a cost as he injured his shoulder during the match and relinquished the coveted gold the very next night. Ever since returning back from injury, Balor has been stuck in the mid-card with stale feuds with Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin amplifying the frustration amongst the Balor Club faithful.

Recently with the supposed change in ideology being preached by WWE, Balor was once again shot into the lime-light with a wonderful performance against current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar as he made everyone believe in his supreme talent.

With Balor's stock at a relative high, this could be the ideal time to draft Balor to Smackdown Live, where there is a serious dearth in main eventers with only AJ Styles and Randy Orton amongst the select few.

With Smackdown Live soon to be moving into the big leagues, Finn Balor could be the catalyst for better ratings and fan reactions for the blue brand.

#3 Becky Lynch

Becky "The Man" Lynch is possibly the hottest superstar, male or female, and her 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin-esque persona is being heavily backed by WWE Creative, with Becky winning the Royal Rumble in January to set-up a mouth watering clash against Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey.

With the kind of far-fare she is generating, WWE have even gone a step further and utilized Becky on both brands and feud with almost every McMahon over the past week, drawing parallels to Steve Austin's iconic stand-off with the Authority.

With Roman Reigns out of action indefinitely, Raw has been craving for the stardom to sustain itself. Becky Lynch could be the perfect answer. Whether she will go on to beat or even face Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 35 is a different question altogether but one thing is clear as daylight and it is the fact that Becky Lynch is on her way to eternal greatness on Monday Night Raw.

#2 Ronda Rousey

"The Baddest Women on the Planet", Ronda Rousey has been an instant success in the WWE ever since she made her debut alongside Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. She hasn't looked back in her journey to the top of the mountain as she has bulldozed past opponents and paved the way for more MMA based female superstars to make it big on the either roster.

While her current storyline with Becky Lynch is high on everyone's to-follow list, FOX Network's mega deal with WWE for the telecast of Smackdown Live has opened up an array of options for Ronda. Considering FOX's reportedly wanting Ronda Rousey to compete on Smackdown, this could be a brilliant option for WWE.

They could bring more eyes to the brand. This move would also minimize the gap maintained between Smackdown and Raw. If Ronda is drafted to Smackdown Live, then fans of the blue brand better get ready to get "Rowdy" come April.

#1 AJ Styles

There's a lot of speculation going on about AJ Styles' future. Many are claiming AJ could leave the company in order to spend more time with his family, which isn't possible due to the WWE's hectic schedule and tours.

AJ has proven to be one of WWE's best in recent years and is far too valuable to lose to any other promotion with WWE, not doing so good as well. This could mean AJ Styles could sign a part-time deal or negotiate the number of matches he fights in a year.

With Smackdown Live seemingly invested on in-ring ability and quality of matches, Raw seems the only possible destination for such a deal to sustain the stardom of possibly the best wrestler in the world.

Styles has been synonymous with Smackdown Live but with the ever-changing time being a major factor, AJ Styles could well bid goodbye to Smackdown and ply his trade on Monday Nights in what could be an eventful night after Wrestlemania.
