Why is Daniel Bryan being booked so badly?

Whether The WWE Universe wants to admit it or not, it is probably to make sure that no one outshines Roman Reigns. In fact, why else would Bryan lose at SummerSlam, be repeatedly knocked out of the title picture and paired up in a mixed tag team match that reeks of WWE not wanting to do anything else with him.

In the end, it really does seem like WWE is pumping the breaks on Daniel Bryan's push back to the top to make Reigns look good in comparison. Again, maybe its true and maybe its not, but there honestly aren't many other reasons why WWE would take one of their top stars and do this to him.
