Five Things WWE Must Do Next Week On Raw

What will happen to Dean Ambrose on The Road To WrestleMania 35?
What will happen to Dean Ambrose on The Road To WrestleMania 35?

Absolutely amazing!

That's is the only way to describe the top notch booking that WWE has been implementing on both Raw and Smackdown Live, lately and it just seems to be getting more and more interesting. Beyond that, WWE has finally budged on doing dream matches that fans were interested in, which has made television pretty much must see for the time being.

With the massive amount of momentum that WWE has on its side right now, what do they need to make things better? Furthermore, what do they need to make sure that even the most pessimistic fans can't resist watching Wrestlemania 35? Believe it or not, it all starts next week on Raw and here are five ways the company must do!

As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you think WWE should be doing with its top storylines. Also, please remember that some of these will be more opinion based then evidenced based. With that being said however, understand that others will be based on what WWE has done in similar situations in the past.

#5 Have Finn Balor win The Intercontinental title

Will Finn Balor be the next Intercontinental champion?
Will Finn Balor be the next Intercontinental champion?

It's all about momentum.

If Finn Balor's case however, he has been stripped of all of his momentum after a grueling loss to Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble. Even worse though was the fact that the next night on Raw, Balor was insulted and assaulted by Bobby Lashley, which is seemingly a hint that he will be feuding for The Intercontinental title next.

Whether this turns out to be Balor's WrestleMania opponent or not remains to be seen, but WWE could at least get Balor back on track by having him pick up a surprise win over Lashely for the title. WWE could even have Balor win by roll up , which will open the two up to rematches and maybe even pop ratings for the company in the meantime.

In the end, everyone wants to see Balor in The Universal title picture with Rollins and Lesnar, but that doesn't really seem like a possibility right now. Although hat might seem like bad news, especially since he was so close at the Rumble, a run with The Intercontinental Championship could show the company his true potential and eventually catapult him back to the main event scene.

#4 Kurt Angle retires

Is this the end of Kurt Angle in WWE?
Is this the end of Kurt Angle in WWE?

It was revealed on Friday that Kurt Angle would address his WWE future on the next episode of Monday Night Raw, which has some believing that it will be a retirement speech. Of course WWE could always choose to go another way with this, like they did with Mark Henry and others, but this case seems so much different.

For one thing, Kurt Angle was eliminated from The Royal Rumble pretty early on and followed that up by losing to Baron Corbin on Raw the next night. Interestingly enough, Corbin didn't even need to use End of Days to put the Olympic God medalist down, instead hitting him with an opportune Deep six for the victory.

If nothing else, this, along with his infrequent use on television, seems to prove that retirement is the direction WWE is going in with this one. How exactly things get there is up to WWE and will be dependent on whether they want to drag it out to WrestleMania 35 or end his career now, but either way, Monday will be must see TV.

#3 Have Nia Jax attack Dean Ambrose again

Nia Jax versus Dean Ambrose. Who wins?
Nia Jax versus Dean Ambrose. Who wins?

If Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE, it means two things.

The first is that there will never be another Shield reunion in WWE or a satisfying conclusion to Ambrose's betrayal of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. As if that wasn't bad enough for WWE fans around the world, the company also has a history of burying superstars when they are on their way out, which only complicates things.

With that being said, rumors previously speculated that Ambrose would jump into The Universal title picture with Rollins and Lesnar, but that doesn't seem to be happening either. Then there's the intense interaction between Triple H and Ambrose on last week's episode of Raw, which has some believing it will be Lunatic Fringe versus The Game at Wrestlemania 35.

While that would probably be a blockbuster match up and a great last showing for Ambrose, it seems highly more likely that the company will choose to bury him instead. In fact, WWE has already put Ambrose in the path of Nia Jax, and could thus be signaling that the two are set for another encounter at some point.

In the end, WWE is dipping their toes into inter gender wrestling again and whether fans want to admit to or not, it could result in the company doing Ambrose versus Jax at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

#2 Turn Ronda Rousey heel

Should WWE turn Ronda Rousey heel?
Should WWE turn Ronda Rousey heel?

Let's be honest here.

The WWE Universe has completely turned on Ronda Rousey in favor of Becky Lynch and it's only going to get worse until the company addresses it. In fact, between the way Lynch stole the show and the fans away from Rousey last week on Raw and Rousey's continuing to stumble with promos, it makes sense that the company needs to make some kind of change.

Fortunately for WWE, the easiest solution to all of this would be having Rousey turn on the fans and become a heel. Now the best part about this is that WWE has a multitude of ways that they can establish Rousey as a heel, but the most interesting way would probably be to have Rousey jump Lynch.

Rousey could even threaten Lynch on the next episode of Raw and follow through on her promise the next night on Smackdown Live. This would show a monumental consistency in the storyline between Rousey and Lynch, especially since Rousey is finally fighting back. It would also be interesting and make for must-see TV.

#1 Have Seth Rollins lay out Brock Lesnar with the stomp

Can Seth Rollins defeat The Beast At WrestleMania 35?
Can Seth Rollins defeat The Beast At WrestleMania 35?

Last week's episode of Monday Night Raw concluded with Seth Rollins taking five F-5's at the hand of the Beast, and while it was certainly a great way to showcase the size difference , it made Rollins look vulnerable. That's why WWE needs to remind the fans why Rollins is The Kingslayer and have him hit Lesnar out of nowhere with the stomp.

Not only will this work to get the fans behind Rollins and continue the dominant streak he has been on, but also will help to make fans believe that he can actually beat The Beast. Interestingly enough, Rollins hit Lesnar with the curb stomp back at WrestleMania 31 before pinning Roman Reigns, which means the move is a part of their history.

With WWE needing to show that Rollins can hang with The Beast in a one on one matchup, it makes sense for the company to give Rollins the upper hand on Lesnar at least once or twice before the big show. Maybe WWE can even have Rollins try to get to Lesnar all night and then finally does at the end of the show!
