Could Bobby Lashley rebound from a horrible storyline to take on Brock Lesnar for The Universal Title?

WWE has seemingly been making quite the joke out of Bobby Lashley during his feud with Sami Zayn on Raw and it honestly doesn't look like things are going to get any better in the near future. Unfortunately for Lashley, his current storyline is so bad that it might prevent WWE from being able to push him into the title picture.

Of course, WWE could always try their hand at building him from scratch in time to face Lesnar, but it doesn't seem like they are going to get the desired result from that route either. Not only is that evident by his lackluster promo cutting skills, but also by how little The WWE writing staff thinks of him.

Maybe WWE can do it and maybe they can't, but it would be a much better idea if WWE waited a while before even attempting to put him in the same ring as Lesnar.
