Tonight's WWE RAW will feature The Judgment Day as they defend the World Tag Team Championship against The New Day. While JD McDonagh and Finn Balor have several people to rely on at ringside, the challengers can also have a few tricks up their sleeves.

The former champion in question is Big E, who was last seen on the March 11, 2022, episode of Friday Night SmackDown where he suffered a scary neck injury during a match. Since then, fans have not seen E in action and he has mainly appeared as a host, guest panelist, and more for the Stamford-based promotion. However, his status may change tonight on WWE RAW given the recent tension and disadvantage The New Day has against The Judgment Day.

Due to the severity of E's injury, his in-ring future remains unclear despite the surgeries and therapy he has taken in the past few years. However, some hope of an in-ring return was shared after he was recently seen back in the gym, which can mean he may have been cleared for more physical activities. With this in mind, he could finally aid The New Day in their title match against The Judgment Day tonight.

Even if E won't return as an in-ring performer, he will surely still be a big assist for Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on WWE RAW tonight to at least prevent them from being too outnumbered. Also, in the long run, he can continue managing The New Day despite not being an in-ring performer.

What did The New Day say to The Judgment Day before tonight's WWE RAW?

Although The New Day has been dealing with their issues on the Monday show for a while, The Judgment Day has also been occupied with other matters that took their mind off the World Tag Team Championship. Unsurprisingly, this was something Xavier and Kofi noticed.

On last week's WWE RAW Talk, The New Day said they weren't surprised about challenging for the titles as they were the greatest team of all time. They also added that the champions have been busy with The Terror Twins lately and they are ready to take the gold away from the group.

"Of course, we got a shot. Mainly, because we're us. The greatest tag team of all time. But at the same time, The Judgment Day have [sic] been running around, being real distracted, doing a lot of running. They're running around after Rhea Ripley, running around after Damian Priest, they're doing a lot of running. It would be us taking the WWE World Tag Team Championship back where they belong for the 13th time, bro," Kofi Kingston said.

It remains to be seen how The New Day and The Judgment Day's clash on WWE RAW plays out.
