Ever since Solo Sikoa assumed leadership of The Bloodline, the heel faction has been wreaking havoc on Friday Night SmackDown. The Enforcer and his group are leaving no stone unturned to make a statement, as was visible this week on the blue brand when they obliterated Kevin Owens.

Although Sikoa and his stablemates are currently in a program with Owens, WWE seemingly had different plans for the group, which could not materialize. The company may have been forced to cancel a potential feud between The Bloodline and former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley due to the latter's injury.

Several instances hint that a feud between the Samoan faction and The Pride was in the works.

Bobby Lashley was scheduled to face Tama Tonga in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament

Bobby Lashley was scheduled to face Tama Tonga in the first round of the 2024 King of the Ring tournament. However, The All Mighty was later pulled from the tournament due to his injury, which may have affected the company's plans to sow seeds for his potential storyline with Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline.

The fact that WWE had plans to do Randy Orton vs. Tama Tonga in the semifinals of the 2024 King of the Ring tournament implies that Lashley would have been just a stepping stone for the Right Hand Man. It also indicates that The Bloodline could have wreaked havoc on the former WWE Champion and cost him had he competed against Tama.

However, things could not materialize and Bobby Lashley's injury may have forced Triple H to cancel his potential feud with the Samoan faction.

The Street Profits is involved in a program with The Bloodline

One of the things that hints that a potential feud between The Pride and The Bloodline was in the works before Bobby Lashley's injury is the ongoing storyline on SmackDown. Kevin Owens and the Street Profits are currently in a program with the Samoan faction.

With Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins in this feud, it indicates that the Stamford-based promotion possibly had plans to put The All Mighty along with Ford and Dawkins into this ongoing storyline. However, it could not come to fruition and the storyline drifted in a new direction.

The former WWE Champion's injury may have forced the company to replace him with Kevin Owens, keeping the Street Profits in it.

WWE may be cooking up faction warfare

The involvement of the Street Profits with The Bloodline on SmackDown could be a major indication that WWE might be cooking up faction warfare. Although Kevin Owens is currently involved in a program with the heel faction, the company may pull him out of the storyline at some point.

This could eventually pave the way for the return of Bobby Lashley, who could make his comeback and join the Street Profits in their battle with the Solo Sikoa-led group. Therefore, it looks like the Stamford-based company is laying the foundation for faction warfare between The Pride and The Bloodline.

This could benefit both the stables and lead to interesting things. WWE could pull the trigger on this potential storyline once Lashley returns to SmackDown.
