After weeks of speculation, it can now be revealed that former WWE star Carlito will not be making a return to his former company – reports allwrestlingnews.com.

The recently concluded WWE Draft was filled with rumours of former WWE stars returning to the franchise in order to fill in the gaps in the wake of the brand split, but now one can safely assume that Carlito won’t be included in the long list of names tipped for a sensational return to the stomping ground that is WWE.

Reports had previously emerged just ten days ago of the wrestler telling friends that he wouldn’t be linking up with his former employers in any role, but it was presumed that things would change as a lot could happen in the span of ten days.

However, Carlito proved that his words weren’t to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Carlito previously had a seven year stint with WWE from 2003 to 2010, but was released from his contract after he refused to enter a rehabilitation facility in order to cure his addiction to pain killers.

The 37-year-old won his fair share of trophies with WWE, including a WWE United States Championship.
