In pro wrestling, success is usually measured by the number of titles a Superstar has won. However, for the Superstars, compliments from your peers and the legends of the industry mean a lot more than the titles.

Fred Rosser, AKA Darren Young kicked off 'The Rosser Rewind' series of Sportskeeda's Dropkick DiSKussions with a very revealing first episode hosted by Korey Gunz, in which the former WWE Superstar shed some light on the words of praise he received from none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin himself.

If you'd remember, Rosser was part of the first-ever Elimination Chamber Tag Team match in 2015, which was for the New Day's Tag Team titles at that time. Despite falling short, Rosser was singled out for his impressive performance, which in turn, convinced the WWE to put the titles on the Prime Time Players further down the line.

As highlighted by Rosser, Steve Austin called him that MVP of the historic Elimination Chamber match.

Fred also revealed that Steve Austin had recently asked Mark Henry for his number, potentially to be a part of the Hall of Famer's podcast show.

He also said that Austin was always nice to his partner who he used to get backstage during shows. Rosser concluded by saying that the WWE legend means a lot to him.

"I got to tell you, man, that first-ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber match, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the OG himself, called me the MVP of that match. Also, as we speak, a couple of months ago, he had asked Mark Henry for my number, I guess to be on his show. That means a lot to me. And also, the third thing is that Steve was always nice to my partner that I'd bring backstage. My partner’s favourite wrestler out of all, he wasn’t a big wrestling fan, but he was Steve Austin. So he’s like a major deal to me and for him to say I was the MVP, of the first-ever tag team Elimination Chamber match, it meant a lot to me."
