From the Impact Wrestling Rumor Mill: Recently hired star reportedly already fired

What's the story?

Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has indicated that a recently hired star for Impact Wrestling, Hania the Huntress has already been fired from the company due to backstage heat.

In case you didn't know...

Hania the Huntress looked like a promising acquisition for Impact Wrestling and a decent addition to the Knockouts Division. She has a decent independent wrestling following, a unique look and gimmick and the prospect of matches between her and the likes of Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie seemed a good one.

The heart of the matter

However Hania's Impact career seems to have been cut short as reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter indicate that the female star had accumulated a ton of heat backstage, not just with an individual, but with almost everyone.

They also reported that she refused to job to Su Yung, another new hire who also looks promising, and wouldn't work with Taya Valkyrie, something that Valkyrie has alluded to on Twitter with the following tweet

Paying your dues is one of the things that most wrestlers tell you that you have to do in the business to get anywhere and if the above reports are true, that Hania didn't want to job to certain people, or work with certain others than she doesn't deserve the spotlight.

What's next?

Hania was involved in the most recent set of Impact Wrestling tapings, starting a brief programme with Rosemary that saw the latter convincingly beat The Huntress, perhaps a sign that the company no longer had any interest in pushing Hania.

Author's take

What an unfortunate situation for Impact Wrestling. They're currently trying to rebuild and are putting their faith in a lot of their stars to help push them forwards, they certainly don't need people working for them who think they are above the company and can dictate what they can or can't do.
