Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have big plans for 2018

What's the story?

PWInsider has recently reported that the Bullet Club is all set to co-host their 10,000 seater wrestling event in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Thanks to Cageside Seats for the heads up.

In case you didn't know...

A few months ago, Bullet Club members Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) announced that they are all set to host a wrestling show in 2018 in an arena with a total capacity of 10,000 seats.

Rhodes and The Bucks have stated that they will be financing the show with their own money, and a few weeks back "The American Nightmare" claimed that they will finalize the date and location for the event within a short period of time.

The heart of the matter

About two weeks ago, former Ring of Honor World Champion, Cody Rhodes stated that he along with his fellow Bullet Club associates were close to securing the location and arena for their 10000 seater show. Apparently, it seems like the Bullet Club have indeed finalized the venue for the event as PWInsider has reported that the Bullet Club's co-hosted 10,000 seater event will be taking place in the city of Chicago, Illinois in 2018.

However, the date is yet to be finalized by the Bullet Club but it is safe to assume that the event will be taking place within the first few months of 2018. Cody has also previously said that he remains pretty confident regarding the event's success and claimed that the creation process is the exciting part of the event.

What's next?

It has been previously said that Cody and The Bucks are also looking to team up with top American promotion Ring of Honor for this event, but there hasn't been any progress regarding that situation right now.

This initiative taken by the Bullet Club member is definitely something that wrestling fans don't get to see very often and this event is truly going to be one of the most historic events of the year.

Author's take

Chicago is definitely one of the most passionate wrestling cities in the world today and the Bullet Club co-hosted event will definitely be a huge success if it is hosted in Chicago after all.
