From The Rumor Mill: Bobby Lashley set to return on Raw 

What's the story?

Bobby Lashley's return to WWE has been hinted over the past few months, but it seems that the former Impact star could finally be set to make his return on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn't know...

Bobby Lashley is a former ECW and United States Champion in WWE, but it seems that he has had much more success in TNA over the past few years. The former Impact Champion also has a background in MMA and it's rumored that WWE has been pushing for his return so that he can step into a feud with Brock Lesnar following his WrestleMania victory.

Lashley was reported to be in New Orleans on Sunday night, but he didn't feature on the show itself, but he could appear on tonight's episode of Raw which is also live from The Big Easy.

The heart of the matter

TheWWENewsPage recently shared an image on Instagram of the computer screen at Monday Night Raw seemingly lining up Bobby Lashley's entrance video, which all but confirms that he will be part of Raw tonight.

Lashley hasn't appeared on Raw for more than a decade, but the Raw after Mania has become iconic for returns and debuts and it seems that Lashley could become another star to make a return as part of the infamous show.

What's next?

It has been speculated that Lashley could be stepping into a feud with Brock Lesnar when he finally makes his re-debut on WWE TV.

Bobby Lashley isn't the same superstar that left WWE, it seems that he has improved over the past few years and could be returning to WWE as a completely different person. Given his MMA background, he seems like the perfect star to step up to Lesnar and if the Universal Champion is still in New Orleans, then the WWE Universe could be in for a treat tonight on Raw.
