From the Rumour Mill: Ronda Rousey teases feud with fellow WWE star on Instagram
She will definitely be one of Ronda's toughest tests.
What's the story?
Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania match is currently up in the air as it seems that she could go on to face Asuka, Charlotte or even be part of a Tag Team match that could also include The Rock, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H. It seems that because of all of the speculation surrounding Ronda right now, the former UFC Champion has had a number of issues with the current Women's Division.
In case you didn't know...
Ronda made her WWE debut back at The Royal Rumble last month and gestured that she was going to be at WrestleMania when she pointed to the sign.
The women of WWE haven't taken kindly to the fact that Ronda arrived whilst they were making history and completely overshadowed what was one of the biggest moments in the history of women's wrestling.
Sasha Banks, Charlotte and even Nia Jax have taken shots at the former UFC star over the past few weeks as she continues to take all the headlines leading up to the biggest event of the year.
The heart of the matter
Ronda recently updated a post on Instagram where she talked about not winning a gold medal in the Olympics and that she is thankful that she fell short of the gold because of what her life has become since.
It seems that Nia Jax decided to comment on the picture more than the actual caption and told Ronda:
"I like to see you try this move on me."
It seems that Ronda had a response to this as well as she simply stated:
"Principles of judo: maximum efficiency, minimum effort. Mutual welfare and benefit."
This has led to many of the WWE Universe speculating that Nia and Ronda could cross paths in the near future, especially since Jax has been heavily rumoured to be the women facing Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania.
This means that Rousey could easily step into a feud with Jax coming out of this year's WrestleMania and heading into SummerSlam season.
Nia Jax takes on Asuka at Elimination Chamber next weekend where she knows that a win will give her a place in the Raw Women's Championship match. The title itself will be defended inside the structure for the first time as Bliss puts her title on the line against Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Bayley.
There was once a saying that you should always pick the biggest dog in a fight and take them out first to send a message. If Ronda wants to send a message to the rest of the Women's Division then taking out Nia Jax would be the perfect thing to do. Nia hasn't had a great year though, so she needs to at least gain something out of this feud rather than just being a talent enhancer to put Ronda over.
