From the WWE Rumor mill: Adam Cole headed to NXT?

Is Adam Cole headed to WWE?

What’s the story?

Over the past few weeks, we’ve known that Adam Col’s contract with Ring Of Honor has wound down. There has been a lot of talk that the former ROH World Champion could be headed to WWE to join the NXT brand. We got more evidence that Cole could be on the move during last night’s ROH War of the Worlds PPV.

In case you didn’t know...

At last night’s ROH War of the Worlds PPV, Adam Cole officially got kicked out of the Bullet Club. The Young Bucks hit him with a Double Superkick before Marty Scurll was announced as the newest member of the iconic faction.

Cole and Omega were at loggerheads earlier on in the year in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The heart of the matter

Adam Cole is one of the best pro-wrestlers in the world right now who isn’t signed to the WWE. With Adam Cole’s ROH contract coming to an end, there was speculation that he was finally heading to WWE.

Cole getting kicked out of the Bullet Club seems to be a huge hint that he could finally sign with WWE who have long been rumoured to be interested in him.

What’s next?

Cole’s time with Ring Of Honor and NJPW seems to be over. Don’t be surprised to see him show up at the next set of NXT tapings after TakeOver: Chicago. Who knows, he could even show up amidst the fans at TakeOver: Chicago like Bobby Roode did.

Author’s take

Adam Cole is more than ready to sign with WWE. A true main-event talent, the argument could be made that he’s already ready for the main roster.
