What's the story?
According to PWInsider.com, WWE is planning to release a whole set of DVDs which will be released next year. Among the list is a DVD on AJ Styles and on The Shield as well.
In case you didn't know...
AJ Styles has had quite the phenomenal career in WWE so far. It's been less than 2 years but he already finds himself a former WWE champion and a 2-time United States Champion. He has been elevated to the main event scene of WWE very quickly and his rise to the top can be compared to that of Ric Flair.
The Shield, it goes without saying has left a tremendous impact in WWE. All 3 members are now bonafide main event stars in WWE and former World Champions. The crazy part is all of them pinned each other to win their first world title.
Seth Rollins pinned Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns pinned Dean Ambrose, and Dean Ambrose pinned Seth Rollins. It all went full circle. Perhaps one of their defining moments as singles stars would be at Money In The Bank 2016 when all 3 members held the world titles that night, even if for a brief period.
The heart of the matter
Given that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are currently in a team, it may not be out of the blue to see Roman Reigns reunite with them, and the DVD dropping around that time. However, we all know that Roman Reigns destiny seems to be a date with Brock Lesnar at next year's WrestleMania for his 3rd straight coronation.
As for AJ Styles, it's great that he's getting a DVD so soon into his WWE run. Maybe it will be released along with a big moment in his career, like winning another world title or a Royal Rumble of the sort.

Personally, the prospect of an AJ Styles and a Shield DVD is very exciting. It should be great viewing and hopefully, it'll coincide with a huge moment in the future. A Shield reunion would definitely be something to welcome for WWE fans!
