In 2016, veteran pro-wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer had called Hojo one of the best wrestlers in the world. The 28-year old was reportedly approached by WWE last year.
The heart of the matter
The WWE reportedly signed Kairi Hojo to a 3-year deal starting this year, and if one is to believe the rumour mill, the former World of Stardom, Goddess of Stardom, who has also won the Wonder of Stardom and Artist of Stardom championship may be heading to WWE’s NXT brand.
Furthermore, there were a few issues surrounding her signing with WWE, as many industry insiders speculated as to whether Hojo can pass the WWE’s physical examination or not, given the fact that she has suffered a couple of concussions in the same number of years. Nevertheless, the WWE have reportedly signed Kairi to a long-term contract (3 years), something that was announced this March by the Wrestling Observer.
