From the WWE Rumor Mill: Arena leaks possible first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match

Are WWE about to do another first ever women's stipulation match?
Is WWE about to do another first-ever women's stipulation match?

What's the story?

The T-Mobile Arena in Nevada, Las Vegas is set to host 2018's RAW brand Pay-Per-View Elimination Chamber. However, their recent Twitter post about the WWE event seems to have let slip that they will be the host for another historic, first-ever, match.

In case you didn't know...

There has never been a better time to be a female wrestler in the WWE. The company is knocking down barriers for its women's division and is affording them the same opportunities as the men.

Over the last two years, we've seen the first ever Women's Money in the Bank Match, the first ever Hell in a Cell Match between two wrestlers, which was also the first ever WWE pay-per-view main event between two women and we're about to get the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match.

The heart of the matter

So why would the WWE stop there? The answer is that they don't seem to be planning to with the latest tweet from the T-Mobile Arena indicating that the women's revolution is still going strong and that they're going to make even more history by having the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match

Admittedly, this is just an assumption at this point based on one or two things from the tweet. First of all Alexa Bliss is featured on the image meaning that women will feature strongly at the Pay-Per-View.

Secondly, the tweet itself asks fans which 12 WWE Superstars will make it inside the Elimination Chamber. As a traditional Chamber match has 6 Superstars, we can logically assume that there will be two. And as Bliss is mentioned heavily in the promotional material that the second Chamber will be a women's one.

What's next?

Nothing is official until it's officially announced or until Stephanie McMahon interrupts another RAW main event to break the news. There could also be some willful assumptions being made and we could just be getting two Men's Elimination Chamber matches.

Author's take

That being said, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say this is most definitely accidentally leaking a Women's Elimination Chamber match and we should all get excited for it.
