What's the story?

Jason Jordan received the push of a lifetime when American Alpha disbanded and he was presented as the kayfabe son of RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle. Unfortunately, an injury would force him to sit on the sidelines, bringing his momentum to a complete halt.

It turns out that he's well on the road to recovery and should join WWE for their European tour in May. This rumour was first reported in Wrestling Observer but was then published by Cageside Seats.

In case you didn't know...

WWE is embarking on a tour of Europe from 10-20 May. Both RAW and SmackDown Live will be touring all over the continent.

The countries they will visit include Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France and the Netherlands according to a report here.

It seems like Jason Jordan will join the action during this historic tour.

The heart of the matter

Before he actually suffered an injury, it was clear that Jason Jordan was due for a big push, possibly in a storyline with his kayfabe father, Kurt Angle. One of the rumours doing the rounds was that the two men would square off at WrestleMania.

It remains to be seen if he'll remain in the same spot when he returns from injury or if he will indeed be pushed down the card. The European tour should be a great indication of what the future plans are for Jason Jordan, in months that follow.

What's next?

We have almost two months to go until Jason Jordan's in-ring return if rumours are true. Let's hope he fares better in this run as compared to his previous one. For all his in-ring athleticism, the crowd hated him.

Author's note

I'm not really the biggest Jason Jordan fan. Therefore, I'm not excited at the prospect of his return, even though I'm happy for the man.

It's unfortunate that Jordan had to miss WrestleMania, when all's said and done!
