Cedric Alexander expected to return soon.

What’s the story?

According to PWInsider, WWE Cruiserweight Superstar Cedric Alexander is reportedly set to return to the ring very soon.

In case you didn’t know...

Cedric Alexander is presently signed to WWE’s RAW brand and performs in the Cruiserweight division. The 27-year old, who is best known for his time in ROH (Ring Of Honor) from 2011-16, sustained a knee injury earlier this year.

The heart of the matter:

Alexander, who participated in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic in addition to his work on 205 Live, suffered an injury to his right knee. He even put out a tweet teasing his eventual return to the ring.

The initial diagnosis revealed that Alexander may be out of action for about 3-5 months. However, recent reports suggest that the young Cruiserweight Superstar may return to competition much sooner than expected.

Author’s take

Cedric Alexander is an extremely hard-working youngster and his knee injury was unfortunate, to say the least. It's good to see that his recovery is going well, and I hope to see him back in the ring very soon.
