What's the story?
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has received exclusive information regarding another WWE Superstar confirmed for the special Raw 25 episode this Monday. Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and 9-time WWE Tag Team Champion Christian.
In case you didn't know...
Christian's final match in the WWE came at the Elimination Chamber pay per view in February of 2014. He was forced to retire due to the multiple concussions he suffered during his career.
Through his career in the WWE, he would earn a total of 20 championships, including the previously mentioned two World Championships and nine tag team championships with Edge, Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho.
He's the 11th WWE Superstar to complete the grand slam.
The heart of the matter
Unfortunately, Christian's longtime tag team partner and WWE Network show co-host Edge will not be on Raw 25 as he will be out of the country, but Christian adds to an already impressive list of former WWE Superstars for the huge event next week.
That list includes the recently announced Trish Stratus, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, The APA, The Dudley's, Nikki & Brie Bella, The New Age Outlaws, Degeneration X, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Eric Bischoff, Chris Jericho, Sgt. Slaughter, Ted DiBiase, The Boogeyman, Brother Love, Teddy Long, John Laurinaitis, The Godfather, X-Pac, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Kelly Kelly, Jacqueline, Terri Runnels, Michelle McCool, Maria Kanellis, and Torrie Wilson.
What's next?
The Raw 25 special is just a few days away when it takes place on Monday, January 22nd from the Manhattan Center and Barclays Center in New York City.
In addition to all of the special guest appearances, there will be a title match as Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Miz.

Though it's sad that Edge will not be able to make Raw 25, it will be great to see Captain Charisma make an appearance. It's going to be a night to remember, and a part of me hopes that during Christian's appearance he announces the next season of the great WWE Network series, The Edge & Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness.
