What’s the story?
The season finale of the sixth season of Total Divas will air on the night of May 10, 2017, in the United States. EWrestlingNews.com says that this episode will cover Eva Marie’s suspension, and this could be the last time we see her on WWE programming.
In case you didn’t know...
Eva Marie signed a developmental deal with the WWE in 2013, the same year that Total Divas debuted on the E! Network. Prior to the WWE, she was a fitness model who appeared in several magazines including Sports Illustrated.
The heart of the matter
At the WWE Draft last July, Eva Marie was drafted by Smackdown Live where she debuted a new entrance with a special voiceover. She made a few appearances on the show but never wrestled in a match because of an angle where she came up with excuses for not wrestling. A month later, Eva Marie was suspended for violating the Wellness Policy.
In the nine months since she is yet to make an appearance on SmackDown Live.

What’s next?
A post on Eva Marie’s Instagram account indicates that she is planning for her future. She has a part in the Nicolas Cage movie “Inconceivable” that is set for release on June 30, 2017.
Author’s take
It is a shame that this is probably the last time we will see Eva Marie on WWE programming. The WWE realised they tried to push her too fast on the main roster, but when they moved her to NXT, you could see the improvement in her skills.
Part of me hopes that this is all a ruse to play off the suspension on Total Divas while she continues to get better in the ring. I guess that there isn't much more than hope at this point, but the two sides can always come together in the future.
