WWE reportedly sign two top NXT talents

What's the story?

We reportedly earlier that the WWE has reportedly been trying to sign two top Mexican talents,Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja and now there are reports surfacing that both men have indeed signed with WWE and will be reporting to the Performance Centre for training soon.

In case you didn't know...

Garza Jr has recently been seen on Impact Wrestling and was positioned as one of their top stars for a number of months. He was last notably seen in Impact's Bound for Glory Pay-Per-View in November 2017 as part of a six-man X-Division Title match.

The heart of the matter

Superluchas.com has reported on an article from Spanish publication Diario Pasala is suggesting that both third generation wrestler Garza Jr and his cousin Ultimo Ninja have signed a deal with WWE and will be reporting to train at NXT soon.

There also allegedly comments from Garza Jr himself stating that he passed his medical for the company after attending Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center en Birmingham, Alabama. This would be a departure from WWE's usual medical locations, however.

What's next?

It's hard to tell if this is true as there are a few little things such as the performance centre location that make it slightly dubious. However, if WWE has got Garza JR and Ultimo Ninja then I'd imagine they'd make a pretty good tag team in the upcoming 205 Live Tag Team Division.

Author's take

Whatever Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja end up doing in the WWE is fine by me however as I'm just incredibly relieved that they're looking elsewhere for great Mexican wrestling talent than Alberto El Patron. Whatever they do I also look forward to seeing Garza Jr given a real chance to shine as he looked promising in Impact.
