PWInsider reported recently that former No.1 Contender for the WWE Universal Championship, Samoa Joe will be in Baltimore for tonight's RAW taping. Samoa Joe had been out of action for a while following reports of him needing surgery to fix his lingering knee issues as well the need to fix his broken nose which was troubling him for a while. Joe had reportedly been working with an injured knee since his NXT days and it was high time that he got a proper checkup.
Samoa Joe had been out of action since his appearance on the episode of RAW right after SummerSlam and it has been a while since we saw the angry Samoan on TV, although that might change tonight.
The current reports are suggesting that he has already flown into Baltimore for tonight's RAW taping but there is no inkling as to what role he will play in the current Under Seige angle or if he will be added to Team RAW by Kurt Angle for Survivor Series or if WWE has other plans for the Samoan from SoCal. Joe will be heading to the UK for the upcoming European tour which starts this Wednesday.
There are other rumours circulating as well about Roman Reigns being appointed as the leader of Team RAW after his recovery and return but it is still too early to call it.
