Kane and Braun Strowman clashing in a Last Man Standing match on Monday Night Raw

What's the story?

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Kane was in Las Vegas over the weekend and will be in Anaheim for tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn't know...

Kane is running for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee this year. The primary election will be in May while the general election will take place in August.

The heart of the matter

The night after the Royal Rumble, Kane and Braun Strowman had a Last Man Standing match to determine who would qualify for a spot in the Elimination Chamber. The match would quickly go outside the ring area towards the commentary table on the stage where Strowman would flip over the commentary table on top of Kane.

Paramedics would transport Kane to a nearby hospital where it was later reported that he had left on his own power and hasn't been seen since. It is unknown what Kane's role will be in his first appearance in nearly a month.

The likely scenario is that he continues his feud with Strowman to get revenge for the Last Man Standing Match.

What's next?

Monday Night Raw takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California tonight. Expect a lot of the WrestleMania card to start to take shape on this edition of Raw.

Author's take

Early rumors had Braun Strowman feuding with Miz leading to an Intercontinental Championship Match at WrestleMania; while Kane wasn't expected to be on the card.

To me, this could definitely change those rumors and lead to a potential final match with Strowman and Kane at WrestleMania where Kane's career is on the line as he has to leave Raw with his mayoral election coming up later this year.

One thing is for sure, it will probably be an exciting night of Raw tonight as we learn the direction of many of the superstars going towards WrestleMania.
