From the WWE Rumor Mill: Popular Superstar returning on tonight's Monday Night RAW

I
Get ready for an explosive episode in the wake of #UnderSiege

What's the story?

This week's episode of Monday Night RAW will air from the Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore and if local advertisements are anything to go by, then Braun Strowman will make his much-anticipated return.

In case you didn't know...

The Monster Among Men has been out of action ever since TLC, where he was mercilessly crushed inside a garbage truck.

This happened after Strowman turned face and nearly took out his own teammates before they exploited the numbers advantage. The onus of the implosion rests on Kane, who drew first blood with Strowman and effectively kickstarted a feud.

With Survivor Series approaching, each episode of RAW and SmackDown hold major importance and this week could all be about the Monster Among Men.

The heart of the matter

WWE posted their weekly preview for the latest RAW, and while there was no mention of a Strowman comeback, local advertisements (via WrestlingInc), and the surprise element ensure the possibility.

WWE is hyping up Kane's next mystery opponent in the preview and all signs hint towards the Demon getting some karmic retribution.

Alongside the potential Strowman return, the aftermath of #UnderSeige will be the focal point tonight, with many Survivor Series spots set to be decided via matches. As of this writing, no matches have been announced.

What's next?

Strowman could be brought back and added to the Survivor Series team of RAW if WWE chooses to go down that path. However, the monster will most likely feud with The Demon upon his return from the dead in a bid to get some revenge.

Kane beat Finn Balor clean last week and is being built strong, potentially to make Strowman look good in their feud, which has ultimately been booked to put the former Wyatt Family member over.

Author's take

Braun Strowman has been one of the biggest success stories of the year and his pleasantly unexpected babyface turn at TLC has further raised his stock on the red brand.

He is guaranteed to get one of the biggest pops of the year if he does show up tonight to wreck some havoc on the road to Survivor Series.
