What’s the story?
According to the latest report from Bobyslam.net, it seems like the current plans for former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor are to engage in a feud with The Miz and his stable The Miztourage.
In case you didn’t know…
Several weeks ago, on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, former Universal Champion Finn Balor finally reunited with his former Bullet Club/NJPW associates Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows in a match against Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, and Elias, and formed a stable called The Balor Club.
The Balor Club have been slowly building themselves as a dominant force to be reckoned as they continue to defeat the likes of The Revival, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jason Jordan and are marking their territory within the WWE in some fashion.
The heart of the matter
As noted on this past Monday’s episode of Raw, Balor suffered a huge loss when he failed to qualify for this year’s Elimination Chamber match after falling short against 16-time World Champion John Cena. Following his loss to Cena, Bodyslam.net reported that there have been internal talks within the WWE that have suggested that Finn Balor’s next program in the WWE might be a feud against current Intercontinental Champion The Miz.
It has been recommended by Bodyslam.net that Balor could possibly lead his faction The Balor Club into a six-man tag team match against The Miztourage in the near future. Meanwhile, the singles rivalry between Balor and Miz could possibly culminate at this year’s Wrestlemania in New Orleans when both men face-off against each other for the Intercontinental Championship, however, there this match could possibly be shifted to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view later this month.

There have also been several rumours which suggested that The Miz could possibly defend his IC Title against Braun Strowman at this year’s Wrestlemania, however, nothing has been confirmed as of right now and we will keep you updated to this developing story between Finn Balor and The Miz.

With Finn Balor failing to qualify for this year’s Elimination Chamber match, I think it will be the right choice to put Balor in a match against The Miz at this year’s Wrestlemania event and putting the IC Title strap around Finn Balor will also prove to be a solid decision.
