Brock Lesnar may not be done with WWE yet!
Brock Lesnar may not be done with WWE

What's the story?

The WWE Universe was shocked when Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns squared off in the main event of WrestleMania 34 and the match became a bloodbath. While most expected Reigns to win the match with Lesnar going to UFC, Lesnar picked up the victory.

As first speculated by Between The Sheets and later reported on Cageside Seats, the plan may be for Lesnar to stay back for a spell in WWE. He may even be slated to face Lashley in the near future!

In case you didn't know...

The predominant rumor doing the rounds was that Roman Reigns would beat Brock Lesnar and send him packing right to UFC. However, the grand finale at WrestleMania saw Lesnar stand tall, still holding on to his prized Universal Championship.

The rumor mills went abuzz after the match took place, speculating as to the reason for the same.

The heart of the matter

The Lashley-Lesnar feud has been something that has been discussed for a long time now. There have been many rumors about Lashley coming to WWE very soon indeed, now that he is no longer employed with Impact Wrestling.

Much like Lesnar, Lashley has a background in MMA, and the WWE Universe has wanted these two superstars to mix it up and put on a program they can sink their teeth into. With Lesnar's win over Reigns, this may well be the case in the long run.

What's next?

Everything should be made clear on RAW, with regard to the future plans for the Universal Championship going forward. We will bring you live coverage of the event. Do not forget to visit Sportskeeda Wrestling during RAW!

Author's take

I believe this is more speculation than substance, at this point in time. Of course, I'd love to see Lashley and Lesnar but this may be wishful thinking.

To be honest, I'd rather see the title on a full-time champion right now.
