From the WWE Rumor Mill: Reason why Kane destroyed Finn Balor and Seth Rollins

Kane
The Big Red Machine is unstoppable, or is he?

What’s the story?

The WWE Universe has witnessed an unhinged version of Kane since the Big Red Machine made his return recently. In the latest iteration of RAW, not only did Kane lay waste to SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, he also destroyed Finn Balor, before handing out a similar treatment to Seth Rollins.

A report from RingSideNews has lifted the lid on the huge push that Kane has received in recent weeks.

In case you didn’t know…

Kane made his much-awaited return to RAW on the 16th October episode, when he emerged from underneath the ring, before costing Roman Reigns his Steel Cage match against Braun Strowman.

Ever since, the Big Red Machine has been on a rampage, destroying anything and everything that crosses his path. On Monday night, he attacked Daniel Bryan, hitting the SmackDown General Manager with a chokeslam inside Kurt Angle's room.

Kane picked up a clean victory over Finn Balor last week and continued his assault on the Demon King this week, as he attacked Balor - who had defeated Cesaro in a singles match.

The Big Red Monster then picked up a clean win over Seth Rollins before manhandling the majority of The Shield as he lay waste to Rollins and Dean Ambrose with little help from Cesaro and Sheamus.

The heart of the matter

According to Ringsidenews, the reason behind this huge push for Kane is that the WWE is trying to build him as the unstoppable force of RAW, setting up a final showdown with Braun Strowman, where the Monster Among Men will defeat Kane to establish himself as THE monster of RAW.

The report further adds that a showdown between Kane and Strowman is likely to be held off until at least December and it is likely that the Big Red Machine will possibly dismantle another top superstar - speculated to be Dean Ambrose - before the big match.

However, that is not all. In the latest instalment of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez speculated that Kane will likely be destroyed by all the members of The Shield somewhere down the line, while Finn Balor will also get his rematch to settle his score against the Demon.

Author's take

It is satisfying to see Kane being pushed as the monster that he deserves to be, even though it is with the ulterior motive of pushing Braun Strowman as the baddest man on the RAW roster.

With Undertaker's return already announced for the 25th-anniversary episode of RAW, all one could hope for is a reunion of The Brothers of Destruction.
