From the WWE Rumor Mill: Reason why Mick Foley won't be at RAW 25 revealed

What's the story?

Many people were questioning why Mick Foley wasn't amongst the list of names appearing at the RAW 25th Anniversary show, especially given how important his first world title win was and the fact that quite recently he was the RAW General Manager, but the reason is actually quite an innocent one.

In case you didn't know...

Mick Foley has confirmed that he was invited to the show, because well, why wouldn't he be? But added that he was trying to free up his schedule from something he'd already committed to so might have to be there 'only in spirit'.

The heart of the matter

So, now that we've put to bed any suggestion that the WWE simply hadn't invited Foley, or didn't want him to be there, we can get to the real reason that Mick Foley will be absent from the show, as reported by PWInsider.

Also as a follow-up to Mick Foley not being booked for the show, we are told he had a family vacation already booked that conflicted with the date. That is why he won't be in NYC next week.

So there you go, there's no big conspiracy here, just the fact that Foley booked to go on holiday with his family so can't really attend. But, and this is a tentative but, that doesn't mean he absolutely won't be there. After all, New York will always only be one plane flight away from wherever he is.

What's next?

Mick Foley might not be the only prominent Superstars not present at the show, with The Rock only scheduled to appear via satellite, if at all, Hulk Hogan's appearance remaining uncertain and Edge unable to appear because he also has other commitments. But as always, surprises can happen.

If Mick Foley really doesn't appear at the RAW 25th show because of a family vacation I'll understand as the family is more important than anything else, but it will be a big shame to not see him be a part of a celebration for the show that he was a massive part of.
