What's the story?

Former UFC Fighter turned WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey had one of the best debuts in the company's history at WrestleMania 34. However, she has not been in a match since then, only making a few sporadic appearances on Raw.

Now, Post Wrestling has given a possible update on Rousey's status for the Money in the Bank PPV.

In case you didn’t know…

Ronda Rousey made an appearance at the Royal Rumble PPV earlier this year to close out the show. On the next PPV Elimination Chamber, during her contract signing, the former UFC Bantamweight Champion entered into a feud with The Authority.

In her debut match, she beat the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 with tag team partner Kurt Angle. The match was highly touted as one of the best matches on the card and Rousey's debut was widely regarded as one of the most impactful ones in the history of WWE.

The heart of the matter

Ever since, however, Rousey has made only sporadic appearances on Raw and is yet to have her second wrestling match. Now, PostWrestling has reported that she might have her second televised match at WWE's next PPV - Money in the Bank.

In her last few appearances, Rousey formed an alliance of sorts with Natalya and has seemingly entered a feud with Mickie James. This suggests that her match at MITB might be against James.

She is also scheduled for multiple appearances at Live Events during WWE's tour of Europe. In fact, an arena in Paris has mentioned Mickie James vs Ronda Rousey on their match card.

What's next?

It is possible that Rousey will make an appearance on Raw this week, which will air from London. The MITB pay-per-view is scheduled to take place on June 17th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Author's take

While it would have been nice to see Rousey wrestle more matches, WWE's plan of having her fight only occasionally will help make the sporadic matches seem even more special. Here's hoping she will have her second match soon.
