We have more bad news from WWE on the injury front. After Bayley being ruled out of SummerSlam due to a shoulder injury, ProWrestlingSheet is now reporting that one-half of former NXT Tag-Team Champions The Revival, Scott Dawson, is injured.
The details available so far say that Dawson has a possible partial tear in one of his biceps and it is still unclear on whether he will require surgery. Sources told ProWrestlingSheet that the options for Dawson are still being discussed but their potential SummerSlam match against the Hardys could now be off, depending on the final diagnosis.
A partial bicep tear usually takes about three to six weeks to heal but the injury requires surgery, then it's a completely different scenario with Dawson likely to miss months of action. The Revival were just getting a renewed push after their return to WWE television followed Dash Wilder's return from a fractured jaw.
