From the WWE Rumor Mill: Sin Cara reportedly gets a new contract
What's the story?
Sin Cara has appeared on SmackDown Live for the past two weeks and humiliated Baron Corbin in the process by pulling off some cheap wins.
It has enraged The Lone Wolf to no end but there seems to be a very good reason why Sin Cara has been so heavily featured on WWE television as of late. According to a report from PW Insider, the Luchador has penned a new deal with the world's largest wrestling promotion.
In case you didn't know...
Sin Cara isn't the same man he once was, literally. But since Hunico put on the Sin Cara mask after the original Sin Cara went back to Mexico and became Mistico once again, it's been the same guy under the mask.
He's a high flyer; the kids love him, and he's a multi-language Superstar which WWE loves when promoting their product in Latin America. Needless to say, Sin Cara is a valuable commodity for WWE.
The heart of the matter
It looks like fans of Sin Cara will have a reason to be happy because his recent spotlight on SmackDown Live has been coupled with a new multi-year extension on his WWE contract.
This also comes on the heels of having a line of sneakers released (no pun intended). Therefore, this new contract extension will most likely see Sin Cara wrestle in a WWE ring for many years to come.
As Sin Cara carries on, he will not only be used on television, but he will also be a great brand ambassador for WWE in Spanish speaking countries.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion still has a lot of gas in the tank as well, and his performance in the ring seems to have been rejuvenated at this point in his career.
Sin Cara's renewed push shouldn't be seen as that big of a surprise. After all, WWE has kept lugging around that mini-trampoline so he can do his entrance. Kids also love him because they enjoy putting on masks and jumping off of things.
Sin Cara is also highly entertaining in the ring and shows a lot of promise, especially as he continues to get under Baron Corbin's skin while The Lone Wolf attempts to focus on Survivor Series.
