From the WWE Rumor Mill: SmackDown Live Superstars to Appear on RAW

The following episode of RAW will be jampacked
The following episode of RAW will be jam-packed

What's the story?

Ever since the brand split of 2016, the RAW and SmackDown rosters have been kept separate from one another except for special occasions. All of this is about to change for the next episode of RAW.

According to PWInsider and Cageside Seats, the whole SmackDown Live locker room will most likely be at RAW for the Superstar Shake-Up. It will be interesting to see which WWE superstar lands up in which brand at the show!

In case you didn't know...

The Superstar Shake-Up was announced on the RAW after WrestleMania. This Shake-Up will witness some RAW superstars heading over to SmackDown Live while some SmackDown superstars will move over to RAW.

The last Superstar Shake-Up took place after WrestleMania 33 and saw a variety of changes which included the Intercontinental Championship coming to RAW and the US Championship going over to SmackDown Live.

The heart of the matter

In the storyline, the General Managers of both brands will confer and determine which superstar goes over to which brand. While the Shake-Up is expected to take place across both days, the rumour is that SmackDown's talent will be on RAW next week.

This makes us wonder if this year's Superstar Shake-Up will be more like the traditional drafts of old, as opposed to what we saw after WrestleMania 33. There's only one way to find out. Join us for live coverage during next week's episode of RAW.

What's next?

It will be interesting to see how many prominent SmackDown superstars are made part of RAW, going forward. It'll also be interesting to see if any tag teams are split up and separated. The next RAW episode is one you cannot afford to miss!

Author's take

Next week's episode of RAW should be one of the more interesting ones of the year. I really hope WWE makes things interesting by splitting certain factions up, like The New Day.

We'd also love to see Jason Jordan or Big Cass possibly making a comeback.
