According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE NXT Superstar and Scottish sensation, Wolfgang, has been sidelined due to an undisclosed injury. He reportedly suffered the injury in a match against WWE United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne.

Meltzer has reported that Wolfgang suffered the injury on 3rd November against Dunne, in a match that took place in Aberdeen, Scotland as part of WWE’s ongoing European tour.

The former ICW Heavyweight Champion was reportedly also pulled out of the rest of the UK tour due to this injury. Meltzer also added that the Glasgow native will not be able to wrestle at the Indy bookings that he is set to compete in.

Earlier this year, Wolfgang made his debut for UK’s top Indy promotion Progress Wrestling at Progress Chapter: 55 where he challenged Walter for the Progress Atlas Championship.

However, the 30-year-old was also scheduled to wrestle at a Progress Wrestling show later this month on November 12th, but has now been pulled off the main card of the show due to his injury.

Wolfgang has been a major part of the current WWE UK division and has also been very influential to the NXT roster and will be a huge miss for the WWE.

Despite suffering the injury almost a week ago, details on the injury he has suffered has not been released, while the WWE has also not released any statement on when we can expect the NXT star to return to action.
